NOTE:   Tomato is produced in mass volume in Pathalgaon Tehsil.The Main tomato villages is Ludeg,About   15 nearby villages produce this crops.Ludeg is famous in Chhattisgarh even in Madhyapradesh for Tomato production.UP,Bihar ,Jharkhand,Odisa,Gujrat are also the main consumer of these tomatoes.Thus Ludeg is the TOMATO VILLAGE of Chhattisgarh

 

 

Pandrapat: It is the plateau of  western part of Jashpur.weather of the plateau is cold in general.One can come here to spent his summer vacation .This good for not only cold weather but also famous for the Patato and Arhar production in rainy season.Hundreds of acres are cropped with tomatos and Arhars.

All farmers of this district  depend on the rabi crops.If rains fail, there is no alternative source for the irrigation.While  Rivers like Eb,Maini,Dundki,Lawa,Siri,Utyel,Sonajori,Kokiya and many other small rivers are flowing in this district. .
